I vote yes! Especially when you have such lovely things behind the cabinet doors, seems a shame to hide it all. :-)
Anne
Makes sense to me...I'd want to see all those wonderful things you display so well.
Sue
...inspiration comes from what we can see, sooo, if you(we) can see your pretties, then every time you walk by, you're inspired!!! I vote glass too! That way, maybe you can also use vintage doilies dripping off your shelves! xo
I'm waiting for you to send me some pictures so I can doodle them up ... maybe a header????
send 6 if you can.
p.s. you KNOW I love all your stuff
OH glass could be wonderful. I love to be able to see all the pretties in a cupboard, or can you leave the doors opened back and then maybe wallpaper inside the doors and hang something from them for decoration? Hugs, Marty
I was kinda thinkin'...how about no doors...that's what I'm doing in our kitchen...I just love open shelving.
I also vote yes!!! I love glass doors on cupboards of all kinds. Have you seen my new cupboards? Your vignettes are all so beautiful, (I try to copy them.)
Hugs, Cindy S
Or you could do chicken wire - less expensive and could give you a touch of French country.
Another YES vote. I would like to do the same. Not sure if I mentioned it, but added your beautiful blog to my favorites list.
I LOVE your blog! I can sit here all day reading back posts and staring at the gorgeous pictures!! I will be back often.
Blessings~
PS I think glass would be lovely.
Hi Chrissy!
Lovley post!
Hihi, I say Yes too. Sounds like a great idea!
Inspirational pictures, thank you so much!

Do it! I'm wanting to do that as well to our cabinets. It's no fun having to hide all your treasures behind wooden, or in your case tin, doors.
do it, do it now!
( just one of my famous cliches at this old farmhouse)
I like the idea of glass and chicken wire, however depending on the type of cubbord I am always afraid to change its look, in case I want to sell it, but when you look at it, at the moment it is yours so make it work for you.......XO MARY
Who wouldn't want to enjoy all this everyday. Still wondering when I can come for tea. Maybe someday I'll be in your neck of the woods. You never know!
Take care,
Kathleen
YES! I have a couple of glass cupboards and it's the perfect place to display some of my lovelies. You have many of those too! Do it!
Donna
Uh oh. Lookout John! Lol! I think that would be beautiful!!
xoxo
I love it all out so I can see it. And when you have gorgeous things like you do...seems a shame to not be able to see them always.
Chrissy your photos in the previous post are gorgeous too. So inspiring!
hugs
I totally agree! I'll do the same with my closet...Change the doors to see what is inside...The only negative side is that it has to be all in order and everytime!
Have a great Weekend!|
Morning Sea, I am reading my new Matthew Meade magazine, and there is an article in there that just shouts "This is Sea's style!" I instantly thought of your beautiful home when I saw it. PS I vote for glass.
Hi Chrissy!
Glass would be awesome!! But I also like Andrea's idea of no doors at all! I'm a lotta help, huh? ;)
BTW, to answer your question about my blog web address... this is it: www.thebeautifullifeblog.blogspot.com
That should work for you. ;)
Ruth
wonderful vignettes, as always!
re cabinet, unless you can leave the doors open so you can enjoy it all, I would say definitely glass!
Why have all that beauty hidden?

PS unless chicken wire would fit in?
You need no advice, you will make it perfect all by yourself.
