Such a great structure. Where is this old school located. Working downtown New York, i love designing loft space, it gives such freedom as to the use of space and I love all the ols and rough materials
Beautiful Chrissy! What a fantastic living space....and how cool that Meg was their model!

It's unbelievable!
It's a wonderful space with infinite possibilities.
Maybe someday you can show us the result.
Wow! I think it's great when an old building can be remade into cool housing. The details are amazing!

Speechless...
But would you believe that what really caught my eye was the fact that the buyers could keep the original fixtures? And look at all those vintage papers!
I can only imagine how fabulous these are going to be. This will be great to have in your neighborhood. I hope we get to see some shots of the interiors when they are done.

Chrissy I love it when the redo these old structures for housing. I hate to see them sit when they could be put to good use. Thank goodness they didn't tear them down and put a more modern building it their place. These will be gorgeous when done I'm sure.
You're so lucky to be able to watch the progress of it all.
hugs
That I can only dream about!

Thsoe will be sooo cool! It reminds me of what they have done in some of the old buildings in Vancouver, BC. Those could be really beautiful! I hope you are able to post some images of them once they are finished. I would love it.

Dear Chrissy,
thank you very much for visiting and commenting. Happy to meet you and to discover your lovely home!
I´m fan of the JDL-style as well, but with my own twists... :)
The ´habitat´ you show up here in the pictures is really amazing. I would love to live in a loft-style appartment like that and so I´m quite curious about the final result after the works here.
All my best regards,
Marjolijn
This building is just amazing!! Would love to see it in person, and wow, how wonderful that's it's close to you. I just love seeing an old building salvaged and turned into viable living or working space. Can't wait to see more of this in progress!
blessings,
Debra
Chrissy, I found your blog through Ange @ Chair Up. Love this post, as a fellow Toronto area girl it was cool to see the little ad for the EX. Many summers spent at the CNE. Looking forward to future posts.
