Morning's in the kitchen....

                              Of all the time I spend in my kitchen......

                      the mornings are my favorite.......

                          when the only sound is the creaking of the old floors after a nights rest....

                          the curtains are moving as though they too are just waking up...

                           another hour the room will be flooded with sunlight.....     

                            and this old house will come to life again.....

                          and the quiet will be a distant memory....till tomorrow morning.  Enjoy your day my lovely friends...x0x0x

Little French Touch....

                            How I love to add a little french touch....

                      like these pretty napkins....

                              and my favorite tea towel.....

                     a fresh pot of thyme....some wooden spoons

                   all on top of an old board......easy to move at dinner time too! I love the simple look of french decor..no fuss..no bother....

                         nothing need be perfect....just how I like it!  Hope you are all enjoying your day!
