Sweet smell & some wonderful news....

Well  hello there...hope everyone is enjoying there day!!!   The lilacs are in full bloom....about 3 weeks early but thats o.k with me.....I have some in almost every room of the house.......what a sweet flower they are!
Not only do they smell like heaven but they add that little pop of colour that just makes every room come alive.....been thinking alot about adding some colour lately..leaning towards bits and pieces of red.....mmmmmmm...
Oh and I found this cute little spice pot..I have always wanted one....now for those of you who follow me I must tell you..Meg left for Haiti on Sunday night and we just got word that she is there safe and sound ....I miss like mad already and she just left..going to be a long month!!!  Thanks so much for stopping by....my camera just died on me (right after I took these) so I will have to get another...cheap and cheerful one on the weekend!  x0x0x

Hi darling, love the lilacs! My bush died a few years back and I keep forgetting to replace it. I'm glad Meg made it ok, I know what you mean about missing our children.

I really do just love the simplicity of your french kitchen and the For Rent sign adds all the character it needs. The lavender color of the lilacs are beautiful in your home...maybe hints of lavender? I can only imagine how much you are missing your girl. It really is hard to do, isn't it? this letting go thing. I want all my children to stay near. I do not travel well, so I hope they always come back to visit me. I will keep you in my prayers. ox

I think bits of red in your home would be amazing! I've been wanting to add some color to my home as well. My home just needs something to make it a bit more cheerful!
Best wishes for your sweet daughter!! She is a very special and amazing person to spend her life helping others in need!! You are one lucky Mom!!

Such pretty pictures of your kitchen with the lilacs! I love purple added to white rooms. I wish I had some lilacs to clip from to bring inside. As always, your pics bring such great inspiration!

I absolutely adore lilacs Chrissy. Ours have past their blooming now, so it is on to the snowball bush and the lily of the valleys. So glad your daughter made it there safely. I know you will breathe a sigh of relief when she comes back home to roost.

Hugs,
Judy

Hi, Sea...I just LOVE it when you visit.
So glad your girl is safe and sound. You will have to stay real busy and the time will go faster until she is back. :)

I love your pretty flowers and I am pretty sure I MUST have a sign like the one you have hanging. So cute.
