Fresh start....

Something about this dreary, dull month that just makes you want to start fresh....I love to just "wipe' a vignette clean and give something a whole new look.......don't you? ~Chrissy~

Thats a photo taken of my Grandparents before he went off to war.....very dreamy.....

Before I started blogging in late August...I never even used the word vignette. I'm still not sure that I really have any at my house!

Hi Chrissy...

Ooooohhh...I love, love, LOVE your new winter vignette!!! Love all that pretty silver with the creamy white ironstone...and adding the sprig of evergreen...simply divine!!! This may very well be my favorite of all the fabulous vignettes that you have done, my friend! (Hmmm...I think that I've said that before...hehe!) Seriously, it's gorgeous...just breathtaking!!!

Yes...this is what has been going on at my place as well! I finally got all the Christmas put away...it always makes me a bit sad! Everything looks so naked! So I've busied myself with my winter's decor! Come by and see me, sweet girl!!!

Love ya,
Chari @Happy To Design
PS...now I'm going to catch up on some of your posts that I've missed!

So lovely Chrissy!! You've got talent my friend, that's for sure!!! At least when we have to take down all of the Christmas decorations, it means that decorating junkies like us get to put all new vignettes together :)

How gorgeous, Chrissy!! Yes, I too love to wipe the slate clean and start all of my vignettes over. Especially in this month when all of the Christmas stuff comes down and everything looks so empty. I love a fresh start!

Your home is gorgeous and I love to see your vignettes! Hope you had a happy day.

Hello Chrissy
One of your posts indicated that your husband made furniture. Not sure if this is his business. I was doing a drapery installation today and the designer whom I have worked with for many years indicated she was looking for someone who does custom furniture. Thought I'd consult you first to see if there is a match.

Thanks,
