Aaaah the simple pleasures, love them! Would you do me a favor and come by my posts about health insurance reform and talk to me about your insurance in Canada that is so controversial here, maybe you can clear up the misinformation? Thanks sweetie!
Seeing the beauty in simple everyday life is a gift...and you have it! Lovely, serene photographs! Have a great day...
Your friend, Laura
Wow... a 100th birthday... wouldn't that be spectacular? May you have dozens more than 100, too! :)
Hope all is well with you! Are your temperatures up there starting to cool in view of Fall?
I should send you a big Ziplock bag for you to fill with Fall leaves for me!! ;)
Have a great day, Chrissy!!

Mornin' Girlfriend...
I can see by all of the fabulous posts that I have missed that it's been way to long since I've been by for a visit!!! How are you doing, my friend?
Oh yes...the simple pleasures!!! I think that I've come to a time in my life that I can truthfully say that I look forward to and enjoy the simple pleasures!!! I totally agree that the people who have learned this simplicity probably do live to be older! They're just much happier!!!
Well Darlin'...your simple but beautiful pieces...are an excellent example of simple pleasures! I love the little mercury glass candleholders...are they new? I don't think that I've ever seen them in any of your posts before. You do have such a talent for being able to mix textures...like the smooth finish of that pretty white pitcher mixed with the roughness of the burlap...it's really just exquisite!!! And I love the look of the creamy whites with the beautiful beiges! I love your basket with the pretty black pillow...beautiful!!! It's all so beautiful, my friend!
Now I was looking down through the last couple of posts that I missed and read that John (your husband?) makes furniture! Those tables are gorgeous!!! Are you lucky enough to have one of his Harvest tables in your dining room? Ohhh...I just love it!!! I also really enjoyed the post with the 3 seashell pictures...gorgeous!!!
Well my friend, I'm so sorry that I haven't come by sooner...I hope that you and your family are well!
Have a simple...yet pleasurable Thursday, my friend!
Chari
thanks for stopping by this morning....I am trying to upload a video to show you all, but it is taking more than my 2 cups of coffee to upload....
I love the word "simplicity"....just saying it helps me through many decoarting and gardening decisions.....
hope you are enjoying your day Chrissy!
Talking about living simply. We will soon be on another camping trip. This time Killarny, another beautiful and simply natural park of Ontario.
Hope the weather is mostly sunny. Our gardens are certainly loving the rain.
Have a fabulous day!
Darlene
Beautiful images as always. I am afraid we will have to part ways on the room I posted. I do not like it ! I do not think it is magazine worthy either, but it made it there. I do love the ladder and you had better start witholding sex until you get another one... that always works for me.LOL
We'll be celebratin' 100 together!!
Blessings and here is to simple things!

I just noticed the "Narcissus" tag on your header. I have a old set of silverware in the Narcissus design. Is that what that is? It was given to me by an elderly couple that I used to help. It was given to her in the 1930's by a "prominent jewish family" that she was a housekeeper for.
Just stopping by to say hello. Your blog is lovely as always!
I wish you years and years of wonderful, simple pleasure.
xoxo
Sandra

The simple pleasures are always the best Chrissy....Enjoy your weekend, xv.
Chrissy,
I totally agree that we should find contentment in the simplest things...fresh cream cheese on a wheat bagel...warm coffee with cream...little kisses from our children. You're right these are the things that breathe new life into us! Have a great weekend!
So true Chrissy. You have the great ability of seeing beauty all around you. A true gift!
Carole
I must confess, the serenity and placidly rustic images in your blog inspired me to downsize and redecorate my home. Thank you for the inspiration dear friend.
Congratulations.
And you are soooo good at using and displaying those simple things! Hope you're having a lovely weekend.
