C'est La Vie.....

Out for a country drive on Sat.....when we spotted this charming little store in this grand old house....just look at all her treasures waiting for a new home....eye candy at its best! But alas....she was closed for the day.........heartbreaking!!!! Not much I could do.....except say "C'est La Vie" which just happened to be the name of the shop......how fitting!!! Quiet afternoons......

Hello!!! I can not thank all of you enough for your well wishes.....I am just fine, Thursday is my last day of radiation ( SAWEEETTTT) ....I have done very little....I must confess I have even had afternoon naps....most of them right here in my favorite room...its quiet and cozy and oh so comfortable! One day I even curled up on the loveseat outside and that was me gone for a good hour! So should be back up and blogging next week....can not wait to catch up on all I have missed....wishing you all a lovely day! x0x0

Away for a bit......

Hello.....hope this finds everyone well!! Not a ruffle to be found in Toronto..can you believe it? Oh well....I did borrow this little shelf from the bedroom, I quite like it here(for now). I thought I should let you know too I may not be around much for the next couple of weeks....I start radiation treatments tomorrow for skin cancer and between that and Jess's graduation(so excited) & work
just not sure I can fit blogging in....so please bare with me & I should be back again in no time! Till then,all the best.....and thanks for coming by!!! x0x0

All things ruffled......

All of a sudden ruffles are in again....I love it!! Theres something romantic about them....these photos are all from Urban Outfitters....think I may have to take a peek at them on Monday when in Toronto! Hope everyone is keeping well and having a great week ~ Chrissy~

A Quiet Spot.....

I have found the perfect place.....to sit and read...to have a tea...or chat on the phone....or to do nothing at all ! John made the table from an old barn door and its just right for dining outside too.Oh and I want to thank everyone for all the sweet comments you left on my last post,you guys are amazing! Bloom where you are planted....

Gone are the peachy walls....the pine ceiling has been washed in a soft grey tone....new baseboards and trim look fresh and clean...the brick wall has been treated to fresh paint as well....the hard and not so comfortable wicker love seat has a new home on the deck.....my Jeanne d'arc curtains(an amazing gift from Tracey) look right at home now as do the nordic french pillows(one from Tracey and the other from Andrea's shop)...my new coffee table a gift from Jess and Meg looks like it has always been here......and of course my beautiful gift from Shannon,my ROI-SOLEIL picture is a real focal point. John worked so hard on this room,he knew I always wanted it to be special.....I think I am a very lucky girl... hope you like it!Thanks as always for coming by! x0x0

Inspiration board.....

Morning!!! I can hardly wait till next week....why you ask?Well....I am on vacation and John and I are taking on a good size project....one I am so excited about....so I thought I would put together an inspiration board of sorts...what do you think?
