Inspiration board.....

Morning!!! I can hardly wait till next week....why you ask?Well....I am on vacation and John and I are taking on a good size project....one I am so excited about....so I thought I would put together an inspiration board of sorts...what do you think? I have so many ideas in my head...I just hope they turn out...wish me luck! x0x0x

Old lace and thyme....

Simple white ironstone.....some old tarnished silver....a bit of thyme......and I have a vignette in my kitchen that makes me smile every time I pass it.....simple pleasures ! Hope your week is a good one ! ~Chrissy~

Home Comforts.....

When the days fly by .....sometimes all there is time for is small changes. Although they are not as much fun as the big ones,they are sometimes just enough.....just enough to make you fall in love with your tiny,old,far from perfect house all over again! Thanks for coming by as always.....Chrissy

Everyday objects.....

I find more and more that the things i find to be the most beautiful are the everyday objects....the well worn and tarnished...not the perfect or the new....i am drawn to things that tell their own story....that have had a past life.....theres a kind of comfort level in them....don't you think? Bathed in sunlight.....

The sun is shining,the birds are singing....what a beautiful day! Spending the day in Toronto with Meg...we always have such a good time together!Re-did the island with my newest junk store finds....but its the sun shining in on it that makes it all look so pretty!! At home with Trish.......

Trish and I have been the best of friends for along time(14 years & counting).....these are a few shots from her new "country" home.....its bright...fresh and charming.....she used to live two doors down from us,now shes about 20 minutes from here...she still shows up wanting her cup of Irish tea & plunks herself down at my island.......glad somethings never change!
