A Christmas Crate....

                                A french crate filled with bits of this and that.....

                                   some fresh greens I "found" this morning while out for a walk..    

                               a vintage tree ornament...adds a bit of bling..

                              no spot is left untouched this time of year....

                                      its no wonder things look so bare when January comes...

A Little French Christmas....

                                 Evergreen & cedar.......

                                 vintage cutting boards...a tiny tree...

                                    pinecones...and paper whites....these are the things that say Christmas to me.....

                            perfect imperfection....

                             a soft and romantic look.....does it still say Christmas.....

                                Yes..it just says it quietly...like a soft cloth dusting the sill of an old church window....while the snow falls outside and all feels right in the world.....many thanks for taking the time to stop by...I so love your notes!  x0x0

Heaven in a barn.....

                                This is where I spent my Saturday morning....

                           I know....yes it was pure torture.....

                       one stunning boothe after the next.....oh such lovely eye candy...

                          oh and yes I did get a few things.....

                  this beautiful couch sadly was not one of them.....just look at it...and those pillows!!!

                         It was a great morning and so full of inspiration.....I will show you my treasures next week......

French/Nordic Christmas....

                                   Simple appeals to me this season....

                            inspired by the french/nordic look that I love so much....

                           white on white with a touch of green....the odd rustic pine cone....

                   in this busy world its a look I crave....a simple yet beautiful look.....I am so glad you took the time to come by....all the best to each and everyone of you....x0x0

Day Five.....

                             After a long day at work......I love to sit here..in my favorite chair......

                    fireplace on...candles lit....book in hand...I am listening to the rain...day five now with no sign of it stopping....but it will & the sun will shine again...

                                                    It always does...enjoy the rest of your week! x0

Moments....

                        In the blink of an eye .....the day is over.....just a blur...till we start all over again..

             we remember moments...and faces..like the woman who broke down and cried while I was selling her skincare.....how she said she felt ugly and plain...and how by the time she left her head held high ....her mood had changed and she felt good about herself...a moment worth remembering.....

               Yes the days do tend to blur sometimes..but I always try to do something...for someone no matter how small to remember if not the day at least a moment in it.....

                    Not much time right now for doing what I really love...but that's o.k...a couple of quick photos and an even quicker post just to say hello and to wish you a wonderful week ahead...filled with moments that warm your heart .....lots of love,Chrissy

Rustic..raw & oh so perfect.....

                     Hello.....you know its funny how the smallest thing can bring such joy....

                            I bought these five tiny "french chocolate molds" from sweet Tracey

                      they are far more lovely than I expected....such an amazing patina...rough and worn yet dainty and fragile....

                       so many ways to use them...I love them on the vintage cutting board !!
