Simple Joys In Life....

Is there a better way to spend a Sunday afternoon...
than strolling through a flea market.....and happening upon a treasure that stops you dead in your tracks...
a very...very large old cutting board...that I knew would look good in my less than perfect new kitchen...ahhhhhh I just love it!!!
Hope the week ahead is a good one for all of you....talk soon, Chrissy

  12. Oh Chrissy, it is wonderful to see you blogging again and settling into your new abode. You've made it beautiful and your blog 'voice' sounds cheerful about making it your home. Simple things like gorgeous old bread boards do indeed bring smiles along, don't they? I'm happy to hear your home overlooks an old church nearby, too. God is watching over you.
    Stay well,
    Susan

  13. I love worn aged wood cutting boards. For Christmas my son gave me a very nice new one. I forgot how nice it is to cut using a wood board instead of the ones that have been popular. I know it all came abut due to hearing the dangers of using wood. Well, all I can say is I'm back to using wood. I found a small one at an antique show recently that I must love for tiny jobs. Your board adds just the warmth that makes your spot home.
