Room by room..Layer by layer..

                            Its been almost a month now since I moved into "The Chantilly"....
                       I am feeling quite good about living here....
                          still of course changing things around on a near daily basis...
                               getting used to the light and the mood of the rooms if you will...
                              adding bits here and there....
                             old favorites along with some new treasures....
                              yes, room by room I am making it my own.....and enjoying it every step of the way...thanks so much for coming by....talk to you soon !  Chrissy

    It "feels" very calm there...I especially like the two mirrors - companions on the top of the cabinet.
    I think it is good to take one's time (as you are doing) to get a sense of place in new surroundings.

    Things look so peaceful in your apartment. Every time I read Chantilly I hear "Chantilly lace" in my head. I am that old......

    Chrissy, I love your Nordic feel here and your simplistic design style is so perfectly me.
    That sweet white tool box makes me want to feature mine that I just picked up at one of our local thrift shops and my weathered folding chair in driftwood tone.

    I so miss my visits to you, what the heck is wrong with me? I have lots of catching up to do so I am off to read your older postings catching up on all the soulful past.
