Its been almost a month now since I moved into "The Chantilly"....
I am feeling quite good about living here....
still of course changing things around on a near daily basis...
getting used to the light and the mood of the rooms if you will...
adding bits here and there....
old favorites along with some new treasures....
yes, room by room I am making it my own.....and enjoying it every step of the way...thanks so much for coming by....talk to you soon ! Chrissy
It "feels" very calm there...I especially like the two mirrors - companions on the top of the cabinet.
ReplyDeleteI think it is good to take one's time (as you are doing) to get a sense of place in new surroundings.
Very pretty, looks like you are adding some 'space' to your life.
ReplyDeleteAnd like Rebecca said, some 'calm'.
Your style and photos are so nice to look at.....
Settling in can be such a pleasure. You certainly have wonderful things to work with. I love how it's coming along!
ReplyDeleteYou are creating a lovely new home for yourself, I look forward to seeing your other rooms. A lovely calm environment to rest your head. x
ReplyDeleteThings look so peaceful in your apartment. Every time I read Chantilly I hear "Chantilly lace" in my head. I am that old......
ReplyDeleteI love the delightful simplicity of your style, Chrissy!!

ReplyDeleteAh, so inspiring your decorating. I need to mix things up at home and your decor looks perfect to me.
ReplyDeleteChrissy, I love your Nordic feel here and your simplistic design style is so perfectly me.
ReplyDeleteThat sweet white tool box makes me want to feature mine that I just picked up at one of our local thrift shops and my weathered folding chair in driftwood tone.
I so miss my visits to you, what the heck is wrong with me? I have lots of catching up to do so I am off to read your older postings catching up on all the soulful past.
