Thank you....and a glimpse of whats to come..

Hello.....to each and everyone of you that left me a note on my last post.....thank you from the bottom of my heart...what beautiful souls you are..so many kind and thoughtful words..I am truly blessed....thank you!  I just wanted to do a quick post today to fill you in on whats going on....our house SOLD in 5 days..for just over asking...so happy about that! Now the building above is called "THE CHANTILLY BUILDING"....its a century old building that has been turned into condos....and it is my new home as of May 1st......I still don't have a camera but I found this photo on the internet....its all owner occupied except the one I am going to live in.....so my plan is to live there for a year or so and if I like the building I will then buy a condo in it. I have reached the point now where I am excited to start over....looking forward to decorating a new space....living closer to work and some great trendy shopping areas...and well...just being happy again! So on that note I will leave you ....be back soon..so much to look forward to! Sending a huge amount of love to all of you.....Chrissy

oh my..i've missed SO much lately, what with all my blogger issues and other things that have called me away from here. I went back and read your last few posts and wanted to take the time to say "Bonne Chance"! How brave you are to envision a new life for yourself with such positivity...it's inspiring! I will keep you in my prayers and wish you MUCH happiness as you feather your new nest and begin this new chapter in your life. ;)

This building looks like home for you! You have a great attitude for such a difficult road, but look how far you've already traveled! Many blessings up ahead for you and lots of cool things in store!

That building is so beautiful with all the vines growing up over it! I think you will enjoy living there especially since it is a mostly "owned" dwelling. I would be nervous around a bunch of renters. I am so glad to hear that things are going well for you. I will miss seeing pictures of your old home, but can't wait to see pics of your new one. It will be fun following your progress.

Chrissy-it is good to "hear" joy in your words. The building is gorgeous. I have always loved buildings with all that ivy climbing all over them. I can't wait to see the inside and what you do to it to create a serene and calming space for you (and for us)! Thinking of you often. S.

I think you are so brave Chrissy! It can `t be easy to go your separate ways after so long time. How should I adjust to my new life ? I guess these thoughts pop up from time to time. Hope family and friends are catching you up when you need it. Wishing you all the best in the future, hope the road ahead will be easier to walk. Enjoy the beautiful Spring :))

I've been behind reading a few blogs. I was surprised by your news. I can't tell you how many people I know that have been married for years are going separate ways. The other thing I recently realized is how many of my friends never had children for one reason or another. I kind of think the world is changing. I know it's difficult to go through the new stage....I went through it years ago...but you'll have peace and joy when you put down your new roots. Where your moving looks VERY interesting. Have fun establishing your new normal!!!
