Le Petit Parisien...

Even though I did not make any huge changes I am thrilled with how the bedroom came together. The tiny old shelf was a $10 flea market find....I love how soft and pretty it looks with the glass on it! New bedding and a new french pillow cover from Andrea (FADED PLAINS) just soften the whole look of the room....but I have to say my favorite part of the room is my "LE PETIT PARISIEN" a newspaper page from 1914 that John bought me on Sat. it looks like it should have been here all along...don't you think? Thank you all so much for you input on the bed,the more I thought about it the less brave I became, and you know I think leaving it black was for the best.....have a great day my friends..and as always thank you for taking time to stop by and say hello!!! ~Chrissy~

Chrissy, you are amazing at decorating! This room is beyond beautiful - peaceful, tranquil, romantic....
I love how you know yourself and your style so well and you always put in those little pretty touches - the little silver cup with the white flower is my favorite.
Wanna come to NE and restyle my bedroom? :) I just love when you redo something-I get so inspired to put a little vintage French into my rooms. I'm so glad I "re"found you. :)
Hope you are feeling well and taking care of yourself.

Oh Chrissy it all looks so pretty!!! I like the bed black because the beautiful detailing of it stands out nicely against the lighter walls! You have such a talent for putting vignettes together!!! Fabulous job!

Mailed your mag on Tues, so hopefully you will get it soon :)

Hugs ~

:) T

p.s. JDL is still not shipping anything but the mag to the US, so I am working on some other new things for the shop for now!

Chrissy-I'm glad to read that your radiation treatments are ending. I hope you are getting back to feeling normal. I've been gone myself, just getting back to blogging the past couple of days. I think the bedroom looks beautiful, I'm glad you left the bed black. Your home always looks like a place to relax and just curl up...the bedroom certainly fits that description.

Beautiful Girl, I just opened your blog !! And before I even got to send you some words you already had left me a few. Thank you for caring so much Chrissy. I hope you also are having a wonderful summer!
Did you already have your holiday ?
We still did not get away somewhere, but soon, if I dear to tell you, we are heading south :)) Hopefully if everything goes as planned this time.

Your rooms are sooooo incredible charming, I love the French atmosphere you create ! I love the bed just how it is, black is a beautiful contrast amongs all the faded and white materials. I love how you displayed the collection on top of the shelf. You seem to do it so effortless, like it is all coming so natural. That`s art !

Enjoy your afternoon friend :)
