When I found myself with some free time this morning,I thought I'll grab my camera and go for a walk....a historic part of town,a church yard and some lovely homes...what a wonderful way to spend an hour,hope your day was a good one~ Chrissy~

The Cathedral in Westdale....

Been a very busy week....Meg had her graduation on Thursday (she is in the grey shirt)....had a few friends over for pizza in the afternoon, then off the church for the ceremony.All and all it was a lovely day,we are so proud of the woman she has become.Meg has accepted to McMaster University here in town and is already planning her second trip to Haiti next May.... if anyone can make the world a better place its you Meg...just follow your heart! Seafront living in the city.....

Freshly painted pine plank floors,soft hues of white......a clock set to Irish time,shells collected on walks along the seafront & the sweet smell of a fresh cut peony.....its not Ireland,but it does evoke the feeling of calm I was looking for...

I like the bed tucked into the corner by the window,I draped a piece of vintage lace from Belfast across the pillows,I think it lends a romantic touch to the room.

Soft and simple is the look I wanted,a calm & peaceful place to start & end the day......thanks for coming by ~Chrissy~
