Chrissy.......what a find! and in your attic.....that's soo fun!! you know what I did once with a grate similar? I used it for a warming trivet; put a little candle under my oven proof dish to keep the food served more than just an aesthetic purpose -
Have a great weekend!!!

Chrissy! How exciting to find an old grate!! Wow, it is so old. It looks great the way you have it. I missed yesterday's post, I the silver that you found, there is something so wonderful about tarnished silver, I have fallen in love with it and pick it up whenever I see it. You use it so beautifully. Please show us where you use this new hoard. :-) Hugs, Cindy S.

I just love your heart warming blog, you have really inspired me to want to take photo's of my personal items and share on my blog, also good luck on getting your home to be used for a movie production, how awesome.

It's gorgeous! You must be so thrilled. I know I would be...I have the original mailbox to our house. It looks like a tall birdhouse and was tucked away amongst lots of trash in our crawlspace. I love it.
