La Pastorale....heaven on earth

Of all the stores I have shopped, none come close to this little gem...tucked into a corner of an old bank it is sheer eye candy from the moment you walk in.....

see the little burlap bags, I got one of those(put me in my happy place)Although most things were far out of my price range,it was so full of inspiration and the woman who owns it was lovely....I left there with so many ideas,I can't imagine a nicer way to spend a morning...can you? Hope this finds everyone enjoying their Sat. afternoon, Chrissy

Oh! I know exactly what you mean! I love stores such as this ~~ even when I can't afford (or won't spend the money). they still offer such inspiration and you just walk away with such a sense of peace and happiness.

Sounds like a great way to spend a Sat. morning. :)

Beautiful shop....just the kind I like too. I recognized a few of her lines. Did they have those wallhangings we both liked?

I simply do not have one like that, but that is exactly what I'm working on opening up here at the farm.....wouldn't that be great!

It does look lovely. The entry door is charming. Is it expensive? Looks like it would be.

Hello sweet Chrissy! Thank you for coming by and saying hi! This lovely little shop screams "Chrissy

My rash is calming down somewhat- now working on trying to get rid of a massive yeast infection from the massive doses of antibiotics. Go to Dr. Fri for big toe check (where I got the rattlesnake bite)- am hoping he will let me get from under the "house arrest" He is hopeful that I will not need urgery on the toe due to the dead skin. wonder if my feet will ever look pretty again!! Just thankful I still have the toe and am asking God for patience to stay in my chair till Friday !! Just keep thinking of all those projects and you know I don't have that breakfast nook finished yet!

Hi Sea, don't you just love it when a shop "speaks" to you? Where you just KNOW you'll find inspiration and ideas every time? This shop soooo "looks like you"!

c, you do know that linda/mom and mom of a german shorthair are one and the same...just making sure. I am not blonde either, so I don't know what to blame this on, but is has been fun to know. I did not want to put my name on my blog because I was afraid that crazy s.a. would find me. She used to come to tootsie's blog and I don't want to find her on mine. My best buddies from rms, twiz and sasha will not even blog because of her.
