Good morning....well I have been tagged twice to post my 4th photo, once by our Lynne and by Sudsandjewels so I thought I should get at it..... I don't usually post anything but decor, but this honestly was my 4th photo. It is my dear sweet husband and daughter Meg, taken at my sisters back in Sept, you know before the snow took over!! Meg is waiting to hear what Universitys she has been accepted to, so come Sept. there will be a hole in our hearts as she ventures off... our son Jess goes to College here(thank heavens) Meg is going to Haiti next month , one of only 6 students picked to go and help out at a boys home for 10 days....she has paid for the entire trip herself, and done lots of fundraising as well. So I guess to some it up, I am thrilled she was the 4th photo, and we are very proud of her and Jess for the people they have become!! Take care, Chrissy

Playing photo tag is fun because we usually do just post the "official" pics that represent our site. Truth is, the people in our photos, like your gorgeous daughter and very kind looking husband, are the ones who support or in some cases, inspire our creativitiy. I am glad I was tagged and I am happy to have randomly selected your blog as I also have a daughter who is waiting on word from JMU, Virginia Tech, and Elon College. I am hoping JMU because I will be just two short but long hours away. She is the last of 4 to leave the nest but she is my only daughter. At least daughters don't leave your heart, just your home. Boys pick up stakes and go.
Thank you for sharing !

I only wish my boys could be so responsible! They are 19 and 17 and don't want to leave - I'm pushing though. I have your pillow solution . . .Tuesday morning has beautiful kitchen towels with French scenes, religious scenes, crowns, script etc. You could sew them into a pillow. Do you have a Tuesday Morning store? Gorgeous family by the way. :) Sarah

Hello Chrissy...

Well I must say, although I don't often leave comments, I enjoy your blog and all of your beautiful photos on a daily basis!!! You have a lovely home and such a knack at displaying some of the most fabulous vignettes!!! I always gain so much inspiration from you!!!

What a lovely family you have...your daughter is absolutely gorgeous and she sounds like such a wonderful girl! I'm so impressed with the fact that she is going to Haiti to help in a boys home...what an excellent experience for her!!! And the fact that she raised all of her monies by herself, speaks volumes of some very admirable characteristics! Many years ago, while my three daughters were still at home, we made several "missionary" journeys down into the heart of Mexico...helping several children's homes. It was an unforgettable experience for my young daughters! Please extend my Congratulations and well wishes to your daughter for her soon coming trip!!!

Warmest wishes,
Chari

MINUS 30? Is that even a real temp? I guess our tea will have to be tea popsicles. Your daughter is beautiful, sounds like you are truly blessed to have her. I'll bet she is like her Mom! Have a great day, friend.

OMG minus 30 degrees, heck I'm cold today and it's 40. How do you survive that much cold? Your family is beautiful and your daughter very ambitious! You must be awfully proud of all their accomplishments! Stay warm this weekend!

Hi,

I just discovered you left a comment on my blog a couple of weeks ago. (I've been reading yours for a few weeks now and left you a comment when I first started reading). We definitely have the same style and I love all of your photos. I booked your site as one of my favorites.

Did you find anything with the gift certificate?
