On the mend...

                        Hi everyone!!! Sorry I know its been awhile since I have posted...but I have a good excuse...

                           I fell and broke my wrist..tripped on a pothole (not my finest moment).

                           Still in a rather awful cast..and of course it had to be my right wrist I broke!!

French Torchons & Rusted Taps...

                             What better place to hang French tea towels...

                                 than off a set of rusted old garden taps..

                            I love how the crisp white looks with the French torchons I found a while back...

                          its funny..this little spot in my kitchen has become one of my favorite places to decorate..have had mirrors here..my vintage chalkboard ....we won't get into how many holes I have put in the wall now will we?!?!?

January Light....

                    Its a cold..bitter day here...like so many others we have had in this never ending winter..something however is different today...

                            its the light..the sunlight pouring in my window...where on earth has it been!

                           Everything takes on a new look when drenched in sunlight...everything looks special..and fresh!

                          Even my tulips have started to pop their heads hoping to soak up some of the sun.... lovely isn't it...when January decides to lighten its mood..if only for a little while! xoxo

Vintage Cupboard Love...

                     I am sure to most they appear to be...well JUNK furniture...

                               they are not new..or fancy..the paint is chipping of them both...

                               they are full of flaws indeed..but to me that is what makes them.. 

                                                                oh so perfect!!!

French Christmas Decor...

                             Hello my lovely friends ...just wanted to pop in quick and show you my little French treasures!

                              Too hard to pick a favorite but oh how I love my little 23 f  wine glasses..always wanted a set of them and recently found them in my favorite little French shop...

                 The other thing I always wished I could find was a few torchons..I found twelve of them & I love them stacked neatly on my shelf in the kitchen..such an authentic French touch.

                          Last but not least my sweet little bundle of twine wrapped in its pretty jdl paper.Thanks so much for stopping by..hope everyone is ready for Christmas! Till next time xoxo
