French Chic......all in the details...

                       I almost left without her......she was hidden under a table...I loved her instantly.

                    She is chipped and worn and perfect....and quite small compared to the one I found a few weeks back..

                         With her in my kitchen it feels..complete.....a true french country kitchen.

                       Every detail is in place .....the room makes me happy!

Best Flea Market Season Ever....

                  Just a quick hello....hope everyone is enjoying their summer...I for one can hardly wait for fall...or as I call it " sweater weather".... I must say though that this has been the best flea market season I have ever had...the photos are just a few of the things I have found so far....off to Aberfoyle tomorrow with my girlfriend Tanya...always find a treasure or two there!  What have you found so far this summer ..would love to know!  Till next time.....xoxox

A Space Of Her Own....

Sunday's Cottage...

                         If I had a tiny cottage it would be by the Irish sea.....

                        I would have my own herb garden.....

                          and everyday I would make wonderful fresh meals.....

                    I would stop by the cheese shop & the fishmonger....pick up fresh bread each day...and say hello to everyone I passed on the street....

                              my jug of milk would be on the doorstep waiting for me at the crack of dawn...
                      

                              I'd call it" Sunday's Cottage"...my little cottage by the Irish sea !!!  x0x0

Summer's List......

                              Have you got a "FLEA MARKET WISH LIST" this summer....

                         I sure do...it starts with some antique cutting boards...oh I just adore them....

               then there is the french linen & grain sack trend I just can't seem to get enough of...

                                  I would love to find an old fruit crate....

                              check one thing off my list...got my old wine crate !!!

                            Always on the look out for tin signs....the more rustic the better...

                            love the old pots too...saw one on the weekend but did not get it....kicking myself now..but I did get a couple of things of my list.....care to guess ????   Talk soon, Chrissy x0x0

Vintage French Wine Crate....

                     Oh how I love flea market season....to find an old , well used treasure is so much more exciting than buying new..don't you think?  

                          Like this old french wine crate I spotted last weekend...I was afraid it was going to be out of  my budget but for $20 I knew it was MINE !!!!

                   For now it holds some of my favorite linens and tea towels on the island..but I can picture it full of many things...flowers...spices....herbs...bottles....

                 Whatever it holds I love it.....hope your day is filled with things that make you happy!
