Something old,something new.....

White dishes and old lace....a set of vintage salt & pepper shakers...on a tiny shelf made from an old board off our roof....nothing fancy or expensive,but pretty none the less......going to be a bright and sunny Monday here,great way to start the week! Till next time,all the best~Chrissy~

Christmas bling....

The magic of winter...

Former Glory...

For twenty years now our little bathroom has been the "forgotten" room....after some heavy rain and water damage the time had come to give the old gal a much needed face lift.One hard working husband,new floor,nantucket style wall treatment,baseboards(for the first time).....soft white and a pale shade of grey on the walls.....I could not be happier with it,hope you like it too,thanks so much for coming by ~Chrissy~

Season of change....

A tray was the perfect home for some tiny treasures...candle light,a bit of cedar & a few torn pages....just a hint of the changing season....oh so much to look forward to!!! Thanks for coming by love to hear from you ~Chrissy~

Rhapsody in white....

My love affair with white continues ....the flicker of a candle,the curvy lines of a french bowl & the texture of pine cones all add to the feeling of the changing season,think I will spend the day at home,maybe do some baking......so glad you came by!~Chrissy~

The best is yet to come...

A 92 year old Irish man(my husband knew) recently invited his family & all his friends to a dinner party at a well known hotel in Northern Ireland.....he met each of them at the door with a warm smile and open arms. Two days later,he was gone.... no one knew at the time that he was hosting his own wake......only the Irish! Have a Sunday worth remembering, Chrissy
