Its a cold..bitter day here...like so many others we have had in this never ending winter..something however is different today...
its the light..the sunlight pouring in my window...where on earth has it been!
Everything takes on a new look when drenched in sunlight...everything looks special..and fresh!
Even my tulips have started to pop their heads hoping to soak up some of the sun.... lovely isn't it...when January decides to lighten its mood..if only for a little while! xoxo
I agree...everything does look different drenched in beautiful sunshine:-) It has been really cold here this Winter, too, but the sun is shining on me this morning as well and I'm going to soak it up!
ReplyDeleteLove the white tulips.

ReplyDeleteSunshine has been rare around here too and it snows almost daily. I am so over it! I love your room and I love the white tulips, my favorite! I never thought about forcing them inside. I need that!

ReplyDeleteIts been unseasonably warm (70's) where I live...but I could see myself cuddle up with that beautiful throw on the back of the sofa just basking in the sun. Very beautiful!

Just as beautiful as ever! :) I am desperately craving light and warmth. I've been chilled for months now.
ReplyDeletesoon though we'll be posting about all the lovely things about spring...
hope you're well ♥
How wonderful to see the sun shining again after dark dismal days. I had an appointment in Newcastle on the quayside yesterday and went walking along the river admiring the beautiful architecture of the city and basking in the sunshine happy to be out on such a wonderful day. Soon the snowdrops will be peeking through..
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful photo with that stone wall as a view.Wow!

Beautiful light indeed! It's been so cold and the sunlight is always so very welcome. Spring will be here before you know it!

Those are such pretty tulips, Chrissy, and such beautiful light pouring in your window! (And what a sweet image of Therese a Lisieux...) The sun truly is so welcome on January days, for being so infrequent.
