French Romance...

At first it was the light..the way it bounced perfectly off the lace in my bedroom window...
then it was the colour of the hydrangeas..a rich, crisp red.
even the old rad adds a bit of European charm...
Of course looking at the old church outside my window evokes such a feeling of peace and warmth...
All of these things combined just made me want to create a romantic..French still life.
After all who doesn't like a little French romance...xoxo

  3. Beautiful corner area with the light so perfect! I cut most of my hydrangeas early this year since they were such a pretty lime green with pink accents. A few couldn't be reached at the time, but have now turned this wonderful red. Now I wish I would have left a few more since I want to add a pop of red in with my Christmas decor this year.

    Enjoy the sunshine!

  10. Hi Krissy,
Your little vignette is very French and also very beautiful. I love it!
Fifi from the blog Chez Fifi is looking for French styled homes to photograph for her magazine. I thought of you immediately, your home looks to be authentic French and you do create the most beautiful arrangements of furniture, window coverings and vignettes. Everything you do is lovely, girl! http://fabulousfifi.typepad.com/chez_fifi/
Check it out and see what you think.
