That One Special Something...

We have a lot in common...you and I...
not just the fact we all love to make our homes as lovely as possible...
                     it goes way beyond that....
we all love the thrill of the hunt...right? Of course its when you see that special something....
like this beauty...a vintage market basket...
its then that you realize....as much as you love it and as perfect as it is...
its not just for you to enjoy....you know that those kindred spirits...those far away friends...
those like minded strangers you've invited into your life....will love it too...and that's whats so wonderful about blogging I am sure you will agree...the joy of sharing something you love with others that "get it".....so glad you took the time to visit...your all just lovely! x0x0

'the thrill of the hunt' is exactly what my daughter & I say about our Saturday morning garage sale dates. you never know what you are going to find! last Saturday it was vintage doilies (I had been wanting to make dream catchers with them) & found 4 beauties.
love your vintage market basket find ♥

A wonderful find to grace your home. I love it when you find that special something. I bought a gorgeous French vintage postal sack from Julie, (The Cloth Shed) last year and it hangs on a ladder in the hall and every time I walk past it I think how much I love it.

A couple of white ironstone bowls showed up in one of MY recent posts, too. Wood, baskets, & white ironstone. It doesn't get much better than that!

You hit the proverbial nail on the head. That is exactly why we blog, to share it with someone who "gets" it Chrissy! This is the only place I have ever found like minded people, that is why I can't quit, I would miss them so so much.
