All things old....

They say the best vignettes are those that have a mix of old & new.....

nine out ten times I would agree.....

but I think sometimes everything "OLD" can work too......yes,it does change the feel of things...the dark colour of my old pine shelf...the metal number ...hand written french letters and my wonderful antique clock....all pieces that exude a feeling of comfort.....makes me think about where they were before they were mine....

My home is all a mix of old and new. New furniture mixed with antiques, old silver mixed with new candlesticks. It certainly doesn't have that primative look that yours has (that I find so restful) but it is a combination of things I love or have meaning to me.; January 23, 2012 11:36 AM
