An old white box...a bare spot & a plate rack...

                  Morning..... been busy in the kitchen adding bits of this and that for Christmas..went to a wonderful tag sale on Sunday and found this old white box.....I love it!!!!
                           I had been wanting something special for my island and this is it....
                     One thing led to another and I decided to add some holiday cheer to "the waste of space" above the cupboards...do you look there in other peoples kitchens I know I do ?!
                     Then I went down the basement and got the plate rack John made for me last year...
            it fits perfectly above the stove...don't know why I ever took it down...well thats all I wanted to show you...going for a walk now to see if I can steal some more greenery from somewhere....I mean find some greenery lying about somewhere....; )

    Love that old box, Chrissy! I have one much like and have been wanting to paint it white for a while. I wasn't sure if it would look good, but now I know... it would!
    What a beautiful plate rack! Love the way you displayed your pretty treasures. It's looking a lot like Christmas at your place...

    I just love it when I know I want something in a space and I know that I will "know it" when I see it...then I find it, or it finds you! Everything looks lovely and peaceful as always. The greenery adds such a nice touch.

    Love big boxes like that for storage. Greenery always finishes things off so well this time of year. I love going around the house add sprigs here and there.
