Sometimes it can be the smallest thing that inspires a new vignette...
maybe some fresh flowers or an old photo...
or a piece of coral from a far away place.....
all sorts of little things that don't really belong together....
yet somehow work to tell a story ...
and evoke a memory and maybe if your lucky warm you heart.....that's what a fresh vignette can do....if you let your heart create it ! x0x0
Good Morning!!!
ReplyDeleteSo true. The best thing about your vignettes is that they always look natural-evolved...never forced or planned. All your little bits just seem to always look right at home wherever you place them. I love the little peeks into your home...that's why I've stalked you since the rms days! :)
I just love your vignettes they start my day off with a smile

Hi Chrissy...
ReplyDeleteOhhh my...I just adore your new vignette, my friend! You still reign "queen supreme" of my favorite vignettes, Chrissy! Of course, I just love the chunky...ornate...antique wooden frames! They are gorgeous! I need to start keeping an eye out for some pretties like them! They just "frame" out your vignette sooo beautifully! Hehe...pun intended! The soft greens and tiny white budded flowers look sooo very pretty with the white ironstone...love, love, LOVE THAT! And...your old, handwritten letters added into this already charming vignette...just took it over the top for me! Such sweet ambiance, my friend! You are truly gifted at creating that "time gone by" look and feel! Thank you so much for sharing all of your pretties with us today...always a treat, sweet friend!
I hope that my note is finding you well! How are you doing?
Warmest spring wishes,
Chari @Happy To Design

ReplyDeleteHi There!
ReplyDeleteAw thanks for the lovely comment on my son River! :) Yes he is cute, but he is a handful!! ;) We are so blessed that he has overcome autism & doing so well in regular kindergarten.. such a blessing this has been! :)) Your vignette is lovely.. I just love your old world French style! Such beautiful curves & scrolls on those frames of yours; I am going to look for some of those this summer! I got my slipcovers in from UPS today!! I went with cream instead of white.. wait til you see the beautiful French script pillows I got.. workin' on my reveal. ;) Take care!
Lara
And nobody does it as well as you do !
ReplyDeleteLove the vignette! I never used to pay attention (not much anyway) to how things went together on shelves, just "put stuff" on it. After following your blog, you inspired me to really pay attention to get the vignette to "speak". Thank you so much.
ReplyDeleteHello, just found your blog and love everything I see! Vignette's are my favorite thing to do in my home and this post is just stunning and inspiring! Thanks.
