The way it was.....

Hello my lovely's......hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas......
let me welcome you to my dark kitchen....this is the last day to take photos before the demo begins......

I can hardly wait for it to be finished...o.k well started I guess is the better word to use....


going to be a huge job and yes I know....a huge mess...but I am soooooo ready for it......and soooooooooooo excited to show you the end result....



ohoh....looks like I am about to lose John...off I go!!! Be back soon with some demo pics. Wishing everyone all the best for 2011...may it bring you all much happiness!!! x0x0

    I am so excited for you....would love to have a new one myself but it's not happening anytime soon so I will just live vicariously through you! I know that your finished brand new kitchen will be beautiful! Have fun and take lots of pics!! :)

  4. Yay... and so it begins, my friend! It's so exciting when you finally see the work begin! I know with your vision, you are going to end up with such a beautiful kitchen, and I can't wait to see it when it's all done. Just remember when you're knee deep in muck... this, too, shall pass. :)
    I also wanted to thank you for your sweet comment, Chrissy. The story about your daughter when she was 5 was so sweet and gave me a chuckle. My youngest is 9. :) Have I already told you that my oldest daughters name is Megan, and we call her Meg, too? So much in common...

  14. I'm so excited for you...so anxious to see what it looks like when your all done. I just know it's gonna be gorgeous. Oh...and the big spool of rope came from the flea market...I bought the 2 he had for $4 bucks each...can you say score!
