Hi Chrissy! You've done it again! I knew you could and would. I love that old bench and you've made it look cozy and welcoming. The shelf is perfect with just the right accoutrements on it. Hugs, Cindy
The bench looks perfect. Love the pillows and the throw, so inviting. The corbels for the shelf are fabulous. All of your accessories are wonderful. Beautiful room. Hugs, Marty
You've done it again, Chrissy... just lovely!! I NEED to find me a great bench. I've been seeing them a lot lately in Blogland dining rooms... LOVE it!! Love the ironing board turned shelf, too! I have a vintage wooden ironing board, too. It's green right now. I've been wanting to paint it white and use it as a display table... as is. Not sure how it will look... we'll see. :) Thanks for contininuing to inspire! Hugs ~ Jo
It's nice to be friends with a fellow rearrangeraholic! :)) It looks beautiful Chrissy!!!!!!
Your comment on my blog cracked me up!! I am actually working on getting some more JDL pillow slips and things {keep your fingers crossed}...my BIL is going to Belgium in a few weeks and I am trying to coordinate having JDL ship me a small order to his hotel and have him bring it back to me!
Chrissy~ Aw thank you for such an angelic & sweet comment! Your room looks great. I am very fond of those old, metal capped set of glass jars you are showing! Have a nice wkend! Hugs -- Lara
So pretty! Love the bench and pillows, gorgeous! Thanks for your visit! I love the color too but it's just not working for the space. It's so hard to show on the computer. Thanks for making me smile XO Kristin
Whatever you do, you Inspire me Chrissy!! I love this room! I thought about making a few shelves myself, who could know a shelf was hidden in the shape of an Iron board? you are so full of ideas.
I hope this season is good to you, myself finding it hard to embrace the cold mornings. I am glad to have a woodburning stove.
I love it! As to your question about color at my house...I'd say it is the same reason I love all the white, shabby chic at your house. I think that there are styles that we love, that maybe we couldn't live with. They make us feel good, but they don't really suit who we are. I love all your peaceful white. I find it interesting and calming. But, I need pops of color around me. I'll wear all black and add a red scarf! You need the peace of the white, but a visit to the more colorful may also make you smile!
everything looks so wonderful and desirable. and it is such an inviting thought, because it does make for good feelings to rearrange your things. Bestest,Denise
