Barn Door Love....

I love barn doors....John build us the closet in the front hall using an old barn door...my favorite part is the hardware...we picked it up in Ballyshannon,Ireland a few years ago.Have another one just leaning....serves no real purpose but I don't care! Then of course our kitchen island top is a barn door too...hey,thats three does that mean I have a collection? Hope you have a great day...be back soon with photos of Shannon's...I am "TWEEKING" her dining room tonight! x0x0

  5. So so beautiful!! Your blog and your blogs's name! We are at the start of renovating a 150 year old house that had an apothecary on its first floor! In my minds eye I can just see it finished. But photos like yours here...really help!

  16. I too love old doors, I have rescued so many that now I'm starting to look like a Door Shop *wink*... they just don't make them like they used to and the antique hardware is always so beautiful too. I really love what you have done with these lovely old Barn Doors!

  22. Yep... I'm still drooling over all of your gorgeous barn doors!! I popped over hoping you had the post about the dining room you've been tweaking (impatiently waiting ~ ;-)). There is no doubt we would be the best of friends if we lived close to each other!!! Our poor husbands would have so many honey-do's... but what FUN it would be for us!! :)
    Happy Sunday, Chrissy!!

  23. Hi! I'm just enjoying a sit down with some Sunday morning coffee made strong. :)) I am loving your white barn door and the shelf attached is so inventive & gorgeous no less! That is neat how you found the hardware in Ireland. I found a pair of pewter candleholders yesterday that would look great with your decorating~ I can't wait to play with them, but first I need to paint my coffee table white. ;) Happy Sunday!
