Morning! I had wanted to post this a couple of weeks ago but with Megs room being such a big job it got pushed aside. I had been showing John all the lovely plate racks in my J.D.Arc magazines .....saying how much I loved them(hint,hint) and doesn't he come home from the shop one day with one in hand for me.....do I love my husband...oh yeah!!! He made it from antique lumber & stained it to match the island,he says he won't make anymore cause it took more time to make than a harvest table!!! Anyway, my next post will be Meg's room....it looks amazing,but don't forget..its her taste not mine :) Till then enjoy your day and as always thanks for coming by! ~Chrissy~

Wow, what an awesome job he did. I've been wanting a plate rack for some time now and been hunting high and low for one, but still haven't found one. I used to see them all the time, but now they are becoming as scarce as mannequins?

I have old church hymnal racks that i love for plates ...
How beautiful. I have a plate rack almost the same and I have not liked the way it looked with just plates, thank you for the inspiration to do more.

Hey Chrissy! I'm always shocked at how long it takes for the JDL mag to reach you, but I'm glad it finally arrived. They obviously give you some great inspiration if you can get your hubby to make you something so fabulous based on what you saw in the mags!!! I LOVE it! The whole display looks so lovely...you've outdone yourself!!!
