  7. I have the rosemary, but my lavendar didn't survive the heat. My husband just replanted it. I've tried several times and I just can't get it to grow here. I always love your pictures!

  15. Such pretties! I love your vintage silverware. I just bought my first vintage spoon last weekend and I'm hooked and wanting to go back and raid that stores $1/a piece basket. ;) Your lavender looks great! I never thought to hang it from a ladder - how inventive! I am swooning over your French treasures.

  16. Hi Chrissy! I've been out of town for the last week and it feels like I've been away from blogland for a year! I love when you do a post - I always get so inspired to redo all my shelves and cabinet tops! Sometimes when I'm out treasure hunting how beautiful you put your little vignettes together. I am in love with lavender - I bought a pound of it on Etsy and my home now smells like it's right in the middle of a lavender field. It does wonders for your spirit. :)
I've been on the hunt for a ladder and after seeing yours, I want one so much more! It's hard to find stuff like that around here though - or at least good old weathered ones.
Everything in your home is lovely as always - you must just love walking around and seeing all your beautiful treasures. Seriously, you are so talented at displaying everything and creating the most beautiful places ~
I hope you are doing well!

  20. Morning Sea!!! I always love seeing you pics...I take away so many ideas from them..like those glass canisters...I sooooo love how you did those with the old spoons and old pages like that and lordy girl that plank table...squeal!!!!! lol That is the prettiest thing Sea...I'd love to have a big old farm table with the boards stained that rich color!

Oh Sea the seasons have flew by this year but I am glad they have and seriously wish a couple of more months would fly by so I could get settled and look forward to the holidays..I am slowly packing all the stuff from the closets and under the hutches..the guest bedroom is stacked with boxes! lol Mama and Daddy delayed their moving for a week so next weekend we will be getting them settled in their new place..our oldest granddaughter Ashley and our first great grandson little Eli are down visiting from Oklahoma (Squeal!!!) So life is really full packed right now...sometimes I feel like I am going in ten different directions at once....got up before daylight and made a chocolate cake this morning...gonna cook dinner for mama and daddy and anybody else that just drops by...lol...whew I need to plug up some Christmas lights and have a Norman Rockwell moment in a clost by myself..I'm just sayin'...lol

Oh girl it is so good to visit with you...I do miss you...take care sweetie and have a great weekend...love ya ~Picket~

  27. Chrissy,
You definitely have an eye for design. I love, love, love this post. Especially the way you displayed the old pages and tattered silverware in the glass decanters. You have inspired me.
