Former Glory...

For twenty years now our little bathroom has been the "forgotten" room....after some heavy rain and water damage the time had come to give the old gal a much needed face lift. One hard working husband, new floor, nantucket style wall treatment, baseboards(for the first time).....soft white and a pale shade of grey on the walls.....I could not be happier with it,hope you like it too, thanks so much for coming by ~Chrissy~

  14. Oh Chrissy your bathroom is beautiful!!! I have the same sink and taps and the same toilet that you have. I love the little cedar boughs that you have tucked in around the candles. I know you must enjoy your time in there so much more, now. I sooo want to redo our bathroom next year. It has a cheap new tub in it and a nasty old strip of plastic around the edge of the tub that loves the mildew and I can't get it out. Yuck. I would so love a free standing claw foot like yours. Yours is perfection! Hugs, Cindy S.

  19. Chrissy you and hubby have created a beautiful and relaxing space!! I can just imagine taking ridiculously long soaks in that gorgeous claw foot tub! The color is so relaxing and it's beginning to look a little like Christmas decorating at your place with the greenery which is one of my favorites for winter decorating!

  23. We're in the middle of a bathroom redo also. Nothing nearly as beautiful though. It's directly off of the "man cave." Anything so beautiful as shelves and such would probably only be knocked down. MEN! Gotta love 'em!

I love the colors that you have chosen...love the soft gray and creamy whites!!! I'm just sooo happy for you...I know how exciting it is to finally finish a long awaited room redo! Girl, I love that pretty shelf and of course you have accessorized it beautifully! Love the thought of silver (candleholders) with the fluffy white towels! By the way, I love your bird towel holder...so sweet! I also really like how you added the two pretty mirrors along side of the shelf...hanging them with that pretty ribbon is gorgeous!!! Love all of the pretty sprigs of evergreen that you used...ohhh, and that pretty little bar of French soap on the sprig of evergreen...beautiful!!! It really "IS" in all the little details...don't you think?
