A 92 year old Irish man(my husband knew) recently invited his family & all his friends to a dinner party at a well known hotel in Northern Ireland.....he met each of them at the door with a warm smile and open arms. Two days later,he was gone.... no one knew at the time that he was hosting his own wake......only the Irish! Have a Sunday worth remembering, Chrissy

ReplyDeleteI love to look at people's face and really study them. Especially the elderly, their faces tell a story. We, in our church, run a very large food bank, alot of elderly people come through and I love to watch them and wonder about and guess at the kind of lives they have lived. Grief and bitterness always leave behind tell tale signs, but so does thankfulness, joy and gladness. Great post, I like the thought behind it. Happy Thanksgiving my friend! Hugs, Cindy S.
