A fresh vignette......I like the soft shades of white against the dark wood of the mantle, have a spiced pumpkin candle burning and nine burly men coming for chili and a football game......think they will notice my vignette????? Happy Labour Day........Chrissy
Oh I love it. It is really pretty. The candlesticks and the crown planter are gorgeous, and I love the way you paired them with the shell, candle and the book. Everything is so lovely. Hugs, Marty
Everything is just lovely, Sea...HOWEVER...chili and men just seem to go together and so don't be hurt if not a one of them notice this beauty!! That's just men for ya!! haaahhhaaaa...NOW...if their WIVES come along...yep...THEY will notice, FOR SURE!
Happy Labour Day to you !! ...my last official day of summer before school starts tomorrow.....it's always a shock after summer to remember that I actually do work for a living !
Chrissy, you have such a way with vignettes. You can pull things together and they become "perfect" in your setting. I need to learn from you. It's an artform. Debra
Once they smell the chili, they won't notice anything. We all noticed the beauty of your art. I think I'm noticing too much. I told my husband last night that I want to paint the guestroom furniture white. It basically got the "leftovers" that I don't want in the rest of the house. His comment, "some of those pieces are walnut!" He knows he won't win.
So did the boys notice? Probably not but sure am glad you shared your sweet vignette with us girlies!!
Just came back from my 30 high school reunion- had a great time and reconnected with several friends I had not seen in ages! Was really having 2nd thoughts as to if I should even go but am glad I did!
No! I seriously doubt they noticed! and if they did, then hope you gave them an extra brew ;)
my husband is VERY inspired by your John's ability to get it done and sell them - and was super thrilled that a craftsman like him got some recognition!!
Beautiful my friend and I really enjoy spiced pumpkin candles too! I have one burning in my kitchen as we speak and there is spiced pumpkin bread baking in the oven too! I'm seeing a pattern here - haha! Have a wonderful day.
I was trying to find your email so that I can invite you to my blog that has just gone private...if you want to still visit Sea Cottage please send me your email at ksseacottage@gmail.com Thanks!
Dearest Chrissy, I am letting you know that I have mentioned your blog on my blog today and I have posted three of your photos. I clearly marked them as yours, I really hope you don't mind. I am not real sure about the rules relating to this. Go check it out though, when you get a chance and maybe you will get a visitor or two out of it. Hugs, Cindy S.
