Hi Sea, I'm trying to get around to visit everyone today. This is sooo pretty. WHERE did you find the eggs? I was in a gift shop recently and they had an urn with eggs that made an Easter tree. It was so pretty, and not done in the bright colors, with bits of green moss stuck in between the eggs so that the styrofoam wouldn't show. But I'm not sure where to find realistic looking eggs. I also found out that there is a printable "fabric" that just peels off the backing after it's been through the printer!
hi darlin how are ya?? I was in Marshalls yesterday and right there on the shelf was a large crown, it was green metal and had leaves scattered on it. I wish I had my camera, or I wish I had bought it for just 17.00! But I wouldn't have any place to put it, yes I coulda mailed it to you... Oh well, next time sweetie LOL!! Talk to ya soon!! xoxoxo
Not just a "bit" but a load of pretty in the kitchen! I love that sweet little crown- it shows up in so many places! I had some lovely quail eggs like yours till my kitty broke them one by one- I kept moving them to different places thinking she wouldn't bother them there but, sure enough she would spy them and have to "play"!
Thank you for you over generous comment on my little vignette!
Having a quiet house this afternoon as all the company has left.
Hey Chrissy wanted to stop by and say thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. I'm glad to find your blog, I will add you to me favs. Theresa
You and Lynne...and fast approaching Mary Ellen *winks* are the QUEENS of vignettes!! You have such an artistic eye! I love everything you do! And I wondered C, did your mom recover fully? I have my fingers crossed that my mom will regain all her function. Vanna
Chrissy, you have truly elevated the art of vignettes into something so much more. Words are failing me as I try to describe their effect on me. I have to study each corner, each texture to see how things all relate and interact. You are an exceptional artist and I feel so honored to be able to view your work. Cindy
Good Morning! I think this is my favorite vignette yet! I will have to copy! :) I bought some vintage postcards over the weekend and am now looking for the old holders/stands. Hope all is well~I'm just patiently waiting for spring. There's lots of changes in my house but ran into a snag when all of the sudden my husbands says he doesn't want me to paint the dining room a light French gray. He "loves" the dark green and I can't express how much I now hate it. Hhhmmm. Can we see the whole kitchen? take care. Sarah
HI Sarah.... gosh I am so glad you came by, I miss being able to get onto rms to leave you a note!! Hope all is well with you, talk to that husband of yours.... bugger!! Let me know if you get this note...please!!!
