Found this silver tray in my closet, I had forgotten how nice it was. Everything just sort of fell into place then, I wrapped my candle in a page from an old book and added a couple of charms. I thought my Moms old cameo necklace looked nice there, added an old postcard and envelope , both dated from Christmas 1913, the postcard is just lovely.A bit of greenery and some candles and I am done! I thought, why not add a bit of Christmas decor to the bedroom, I can enjoy it at the end of the day. Hope you all have a lovely weekend, it is bitter and cold here today, with just a touch of snow. Stay warm!!!

You are brilliant! I love what you did on that gorgeous tray! Isn't it fun to play with what we have? You are a very big inspiration. Love, the idea of wrapping a page from a book around the candle, and how the sweet little postcard just happens to be sitting there. Your style is what I love!!

Hi Sea, hope you are enjoying the nip in the air. I LOVE the cold, it is supposed to be around 30 degrees here in the morning, which for us is really chilly. After my haircut I'm going to come home and do some Christmas crafts (no, I REALLY mean it this time)! Your vignette in this post takes my breath away. PERFECTION. How do you do that????????
